Pastor Josh and Shannon Watts
Shannon and I are incredibly blessed and humbled that God has called us to continue gospel ministry in New Castle. We are excited to see what God has in store for City Church as we share His great salvation plan with the families of New Castle. God has blessed us with six kids: Addilae, Rylah, Emmalyn, Talcot, Joha, and Sadine. It is a privilege and joy for our family to serve the Lord.

Dan Fries, Executive Pastor
Dan has been married to Esther since 2002, and they have 4 children together – Kaitlyn, Lyle, Ellie & Allison. Dan is excited to back in full-time ministry at City Church after several years working in Information Technology. He is passionate about cultivating life-impacting Christian community and helping fellow believers adopt a biblical worldview. Dan has served as a Small Groups Pastor & Adult Ministries Pastor during his prior 10 years of full-time ministry experience and is a graduate of Dallas Theology Seminary.
Tyler Voland, Student Pastor
Any time you spend with Tyler, you instantly know he is a man of compassion. Tyler demonstrates this everywhere he goes. Tyler is a graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute and Lancaster Bible College. He worked in youth ministry for several years. Recently, he had the opportunity to serve as a Youth Ministry Intern in Cebu, Philippines for a year. Tyler is excited to work at City Church because he gets to see how the gospel changes lives. He understands that our world desperately needs hope and life that is only found in Jesus Christ. He is passionate about seeing the youth grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Lauren Voland, Administrative Assistant
Lauren is a student at YSU where her major is Early Childhood Education/Intervention Specialist (Grades P-5). Lauren has a passion for people and enjoys using this passion within the church in various ways. Currently, she provides support to the children's ministry as she helps prepare for Sunday. She is also the person who keeps our database organized and efficient. Her attention to detail is greatly appreciated and makes life at City Church run smoothly. She is excited to work at City Church and continues to grow deeper in her faith as she serves the community and desires to bring new life in Christ to New Castle.
